About
We are an independent, student-led society for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at King's College London. We connect enthusiasts of all backgrounds to learn, design, build and innovate together.
What we do
1) Weekly Workshops
New to Robotics? Already a seasoned builder? No problem, we are beginner-friendly and can cater to all skill levels. Pick up several engineering skills through our weekly workshops, running every Wednesday, 3-5 pm (without fail). Think 3D printing, CAD, electronics, drones and more. We'll teach you the skills to bring your ideas to life.

2) Regular Free Socials
We won't be stuck in a lab all day and give in to nerd stereotypes; we know how to have fun! Think movie nights, game nights, arts & crafts, and seasonal-themed socials with snacks, FREE for all, including non-members. But what does your Robotics membership include? Fully funded bowling, ice-skating socials, pizza nights...
3) Robotics Competitions
Ready to put your skills to the test? Choose to participate in casual or competitive teams and represent KCL at national Robotics competitions, including Mars Rover, Unibots and Robowars.
4) Speaker Panels
Interested in Robotics as a career but not sure where to start? Attend our speaker panels, where you can hear from industry leaders and professionals in the field. "Tomorrow's Intelligence" was our biggest panel, with 380+ attendees and hosting speakers from NextGen Ri, Shadow Robot, Humanoid, Dyson, ARIA and Nexus Labs. We even had a humanoid and robot dogs in person!

5) Collaboration & Networking Opportunities
One society with links to many interesting people? Check. We frequently collab with societies within and beyond KCL - get to meet students of all backgrounds and be part of something bigger.
6) Hackathons
"Hardware Hacks" is our flagship hackathon, in collaboration with KCL Electronics, where teams are challenged to disassemble and reverse-engineer old gadgets into functional new tech. No vibe-coding AI apps here, just a show of creative resourcefulness and building tangible solutions. A weekend of chaos and huge prizes (think 3D printers, drones and cool tech) to be won!
