The European Law Students’ Association, more commonly known as ELSA, is one of the most vibrant communities at King’s College London. ELSA is perfect for anyone and everyone with an interest in law, no matter your degree. Being a member of ELSA at King's gives you access to a range of opportunities, locally, nationally, and internationally. You can apply for paid internships with ELSA Traineeships, participate in outreach with the Rule of Law Education Programme (ROLE), attend winter or summer law schools with ELSA Law Schools, or apply to be part of the KCL team for international competitions, such as the Helga Pederson Moot Court Competition. Locally, we also organise a mixture of events and opportunities, such as socials, study visits, workshops, competitions, panels and more. In the past, we have organised seminars on Competition Law and Entertainment Law, organised tours of Parliament, and hosted Human Rights Debate competitions! So join ELSA KCL this academic year! (don’t worry, you don’t have to be European to become part of our community, nor do we focus solely on EU law).

Also, as an FYI: if you are a KCL student, buy the standard membership, and if you are external, get the associate membership. We also, unfortunately cannot accept transfers of ELSA membership from other ELSAs internationally or nationally, as we are KCLSU affiliated.
