What is King's MedTech Society?
King's MedTech Society aims to bring students from across King’s who are interested in medical technologies and engage them in opportunities to expand their understanding of this field.
Our events are high quality and award winning. We help build skills and educate students on all aspects of MedTech, including medicine, engineering, sciences, and business. How can I get involved?
Our standard membership is free! This will give you access to our Whatsapp Group, Newsletter, and Socials. A great option if you're interested in joining but not sure about what events you would attend.
The full membership is only £3, this allows you to come to attend our events throughout the year.
Note: The associate membership is for non-KCL students who wish to join the society.

What events can I attend?
London MedTech Gadget Fair (in collaboration with London Uni MedTech Societies)
Our biggest event of the year, brings together students from all London MedTech Socities for an exciting day to discover the latest technology in healthcare! This year we are hosting the fair at Kings, an unmissable event!
Panel Talks and Networking Events - Learn from MedTech founders and industry professionals!
We regularly invite MedTech leaders to speak at panels and talk to our members. They can provide you with their personal insights, advice, and mentorship!
Competitions and Conferences
We host competitions that are open to all students, allowing you to develop your skills as an innovator and MedTech thinker! Last year our members competed against students at the National University of Singapore at the NUS X KCL MedTech Innovation Competition.
We also run an annual conference which is must-attend event! Our theme last year was Blueprint to Breakthrough, and focussed on how students can go from a problem to innovation to business.
