Welcome to the KCL Korean Hallyu Society!

We are a community at KCL for all those interested in the Korean entertainment industry!

Over the past decade, we have witnessed a rapid surge in Korean culture, music, performances, dramas, food, and more. Likewise, our society has grown to become one of the biggest Korean Societies in London! We have earned our place through exciting showcases, as well as our success in K-pop Dance Competitions all over the UK.

We are open and inclusive to all!
It's our mission to create the best space within King's for people to share their common interest in Korean entertainment and culture! You do not need to be a performer, or a hardcore stan to enjoy our socials and events. Whether it be joining our weekly dance and vocal classes, or auditioning for our showcase pieces - you just need to come as yourself and with your love for Hallyu!

• Hirise (Our Dance Team): We're back this year with more weekly K-pop classes and workshops! Or take part in our showcases twice a year, join our YouTube covers and Random Play Dance Challenges! And that's not all - stand a chance to join Inter-Uni Dance Competitions with us and compete against universities from all over the UK!
• Halcyon (Our Vocal Team): We're ready with our amazing vocals for the year ahead; with more classes, mini socials, competitions and performances to join, as well as YouTube and Instagram covers! Have we mentioned we're the first Korean Society to host a Vocal Showcase in London?
• Socials: Where you can meet amazing people and create life-long friendships, through events like boba socials, karaoke, restaurant outings, film screenings and many more!
• Collaborations with Other Universities: As we are one of many Korean Societies across London, we collaborate with other universities across various events, like our showcases and socials, so you can meet even more people!
• Sponsorships: We hear and see your requests! We are coming back this year with new sponsorships that will benefit all lovers of Korean culture! Stay tuned for more!

By joining our society, you will be able to make irreplaceable memories that enhance your time at KCL, whether it's attending your first singing class or dancing in front of your friends and family. There's something for everyone!
