KCL Music Society is a welcoming community for anyone who enjoys making music, whether you're an experienced performer or picking up your instrument again at university. We bring together students through ensembles, workshops, concerts and socials, creating opportunities to perform, learn new skills and meet like-minded musicians. Above all, we're about making music together, building confidence and ensuring everyone has a place to belong.

🎵 Chamber Choir (Auditioned)
Our auditioned choir for singers who love classical choral music. From Renaissance masterpieces to contemporary chamber works, Chamber Choir is all about beautiful music, close harmonies and rewarding performances.
🎻 Concerto Ensemble (Auditioned)
Ever wanted to perform a concerto with an orchestra? Concerto Ensemble gives soloists the chance to perform concerto movements with a live ensemble, while also offering orchestral players the opportunity to experience accompanying soloists. A unique and exciting concert experience for everyone involved.
🎺 Wind Orchestra (Un-auditioned)
No audition, just great music! Whether you've been playing for years or are dusting off your instrument, Wind Orchestra is a relaxed, welcoming group for woodwind, brass and percussion players.
🎻 Camerata (Un-auditioned)
Our friendly string ensemble for violin, viola, cello and double bass players. No auditions, no pressure—just enjoyable rehearsals, great music and a chance to play with fellow string players

Whether you're polishing a piece or preparing for your next performance, our Piano Workshops are all about playing! Alongside monthly deep-dive masterclasses, we host lunchtime concerts and piano showcases, giving you plenty of opportunities to perform and build confidence.
✍️ Composition Workshops
Want to write your own music? Our weekly Composition Workshops explore a different genre each session, helping you develop new skills and ideas. Throughout the year, you'll also have the chance to hear your music brought to life in our composition showcases.
