The Austrian Society is where Kaiserschmarrn meets KCL and waltzing meets well-earned pints. We’re a welcoming community for anyone with an interest in Austrian culture, the German language, or just the finer things in life (like Sachertorte).
Throughout the year we host a variety of events, from elegant evenings such as an annual ball at the Austrian Embassy to relaxed pub socials with great food and conversation. Our society also creates unique opportunities to network with economists, diplomats, and cultural figures connected to Austria, offering insights into international affairs and professional life. Beyond that, we love sharing travel tips for Vienna and beyond, helping you discover the best of Austria from hidden cafés to alpine escapes. Our society combines cultural engagement with genuine connection. As an intercollegiate community, we bring together students from King’s and universities across the UK, fostering diversity and lasting networks.
