Whether you're cardiology-curious or already dreaming of scrubs and a scalpel, there's a place for you here. KCL Cardiovascular Society is a long-standing student society dedicated to all things cardiovascular, and we run a wide range of events throughout the year to educate, inspire, and support anyone with an interest in cardiovascular science and medicine.

We're proud to be a warm, welcoming space for the whole cardiovascular MDT — not just medics, but nursing and research students too. Cardiovascular care is a team effort, and so is our society; whatever your path, we'd love to have you with us.

New for 2026/27, we're so excited to launch the Cardiac Imaging Club — a series working through the imaging modalities that often leave students stumped, including ECGs, echocardiograms, chest X-rays, and CT. We're gamifying it, with prizes up for grabs, so you can build your interpretation skills while having fun along the way.

We offer:

• Regular talks from clinicians and expert speakers
• Educational evening sessions with FREE supporting resources, including detailed booklets
• An Introduction to Research workshop series
• MLA teaching sessions
• OSCE teaching and practice sessions
• Our new Cardiac Imaging Club — gamified sessions on ECGs, echos, CXRs, and CT, with prizes to be won
• Hands-on workshops and simulations
• Our annual International Cardiovascular Conference

We also have a rich history of outreach work. Our Heart Health in Schools (HHiS) programme takes our members into primary schools across London to teach children about cardiovascular health and the heart.
