We are the General Practice society here at KCL! The aim of our society is to promote the exciting and versatile career of General Practice to anyone interested! We provide our members with amazing events, including revision talks and exam tips, mock OSCEs and career-related events.
Over the past few years we have increased our membership but putting on events for your benefit, making us a truly student-led, student-focused society.
Our most loved events include the overwhelming popular clinical skills taster evening for 1st and 2nd years, our revision series, DiscoverGP nights with networking and academic opportunities and conference!
We aim to provide something for every cohort at the medical school, and we appreciate that with the introduction of the new curriculum, it can be difficult to find relevant resources. This year, although mostly digital, we aim to continue providing similar events and resources through the COVID era to support your journey at GKT.
As a society, we pride ourselves on the success of our past events and the extremely positive feedback that we have received. We are always looking for ways to improve and make our society bigger and better than the previous year. We are keen on introducing new events that YOU want, and our friendly and approachable committee are willing to hear your ideas!
