List of Activity Groups

We are King's College London's largest hub for political discussion, and the biggest student-led politics group in London. You don’t need to be studying politics to join us—we are completely non-partisan and welcome everyone, whether you want to debate global issues, build a career network, or just meet new people.

We run an active mix of events throughout the year, from high-profile speaker panels to casual socials. Previous guests have included Ed Balls, Richard Tice, Zack Polanski, David Lammy, Alistair Campbell, and Sir Lindsay Hoyle.

What we do:

• In-House Mentorship: Our scheme connects you with one of our 50+ dedicated mentors to help you build your confidence, pick up practical skills, and break into the political and policy sectors.
• Cross-Party Campus Debates: We bring together KCL’s four major campus parties (Labour, Tories, Lib Dems, and Greens) for big, spirited debates where the audience votes for the winner.
• Socials & Trips: From our massive termly politics balls and the legendary Spring Boat Party down the Thames to international trips and career visits, there is plenty to get involved with outside the classroom.

With around 400 members, we are a friendly community right at the centre of campus life. For roughly the price of a single pint, membership gets you into all of our exclusive guest events, discounted ball tickets, and a spot on our trips.
