Chemistry society is a student-run society for all types of chemistry. We aim to unite chemist across KCL alongside fostering relations between chemist and those interested alike, whilst creating a vibrant and open community for us all. We aim not only to host extra lectures, seminars and workshops to enhance our members knowledge in chemistry and related fields but to also hold social events so that chemistry students from across the university and years can come together and socialise.

What to Expect: ChemSoc 2025-2026 promises an exciting lineup of events and activities, including:

  • Guest Lectures: Renowned scientists and experts will deliver talks on cutting-edge research and developments in the world of chemistry.

  • Workshops: Hands-on workshops where you can explore various areas of chemistry and learn useful skills e.g. coding for chemists

  • Chemistry Outreach: Opportunities to volunteer and engage with local schools to inspire the next generation of scientists.

  • Career Development: Networking sessions and career panels featuring professionals from diverse chemistry-related fields.

  • Social Events: Fun and informal gatherings to connect with fellow members who share your passion for chemistry.

Get Involved: ChemSoc is open to all students and individuals with an interest in chemistry, regardless of your level of expertise. To get involved, join us for our kick-off meeting and sign up for membership. You can also follow us on social media and our website to stay updated on upcoming events and activities.
