We host live jazz, jams, workshops, and socials, welcoming musicians and appreciators alike. 2026/27 marks our tenth anniversary.

Once you have your free membership, get involved:

  • Jazz@theVault a.k.a. Strand Sessions: we host fortnightly jazz nights at the Vault (Bush House SE), with a house set followed by an open jam.
  • Jazz@Guy's: we host monthly jazz nights at Guy's Bar with a house set followed by an open jam.
  • Big Band: this is our flagship auditioned ensemble, rehearsing weekly for regular showings.
  • Improvisation Workshops: these are weekly jazz improvisation group practice sessions, open to all abilities.
  • Jazz Chorus: this is our auditioned choir of jazz vocalists, rehearsing weekly for regular showings.
  • Sporadic Events: we host many one-off concerts, collaborative events with KCLSU societies, and social events. These include our official freshers' events at Guy's Bar and the Vault.
