We are the Student group responsible for representing, advocating for and supporting all law students throughout their time at King's and care about anything that you do! Got some feedback on feedback? Want to know where to find the academic calendar? (Spoilers, it's here) Have a question about module selection? Want to know where to access support? (We recommend the Law Families programme if you are a first year) Have an idea for how the Law School (or King's) could improve? Let us know!
This year, we are continuing our initiatives like the Law Families programme and Academic Feedback Campaigns while more broadly focusing on ensuring clarity of communication between students and faculty and most importantly, representing your voices! There are various ways to get in contact with us (Instagram, email or through your Academic Reps!) so please do get in touch if you have any concerns, queries or feedback.
We successfully campaigned for a change to how summative feedback is delivered across the Law School, a culmination of two years of active campaigning from the Law Council
We created an Anonymous Complaint Form which has encouraged students to come forward with their concerns. This has promoted transparency and good governance within the Law School.
Through this, we have been able to address sensitive topics and better support students
We held the Law School’s first-ever Town Hall in the 2023/24 academic year where we invited students from all year groups to talk about their experiences so far, and to raise any concerns.
In the 2025/26 academic year we paired over 300 students across the Law Families Project, doubling the size of the programme over the course of two years! This has contributed to a stronger sense of community, mentorship and knowledge across the student body.
Ran a Trans Awareness Week event in collaboration with the LGBTQ+ Network featuring Olivia Campbell Cavendish, founder of the Trans Legal Clinic
Ran a series of community based events, including movie nights, games nights for first years and a slime making event with BMS and KCL Amicus
We took an active role in Law induction events, providing students with key advice and support in the first few weeks of the academic year.
(You probably saw us at in the First Year Induction, the Networking Social, the Law Societies Fair, the Boat tour and the Q&A sessions which are just a few of the events we attended and led in the first few weeks of term.)
