Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that emphasises control and attacks from the ground and on the back, which, for other martial arts, is seen as a weak/vulnerable position. The foundation of BJJ focuses on the efficiency of technique rather than strength to defend against, control, and submit your opponent, so anyone of any body type can see success with the moves and techniques and apply them to practical self-defence scenarios outside of the gym (though try not to go around assaulting your friends with armbars).
As we are affiliated with one of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gyms in Europe, London Grapple, you are guaranteed to receive the highest quality of coaching at an affordable price (see below for pricing), and by being a KCLBJJ member, you are eligible to receive exclusive offers from London Grapple.

The membership fee can be purchased here for £45; a £3 (£5 for non-members) session fee needs to be paid for each session you go to (each session is 2 hrs, meaning you are only paying £1.50(£2.50) for each hour of the highest quality coaching!!), or members can pay £30 for 12 sessions!
If you want to be a "seasoned submission-god", then you can buy the full years membership for £335 which gives you access to all the classes.
Newcomers can receive the first session for free (no membership and session fee required), but in order to continue training, a KCLBJJ society membership must be paid, or you will be unable to attend further sessions.
BJJ is a really fun sport no matter what your goals are; whether you want to enjoy it as a hobby or take it competitively, it's entirely up to you, so give it a go and see if you like it!
