King’s College London Boat Club is the universities greatest sports club; our history dates back to the 1800's making us one of the oldest and most established.

Anyone can join KCLBC; we take complete novices and experienced athletes. No matter what your level of commitment, there will be a boat for you. We can take you from a complete amateur, into a fit and active athlete in your first year of rowing.

KCLBC has the best coaches; Our team of coaches are here to share their years of knowledge and experience to allow our athletes to reach their full potential. Through different coaching styles and blending the techniques of years of coaching under their belts, our coaches know exactly what needs to be done at all levels, from novices to experienced senior rowers.

Racing, racing and more racing; the club competes nationally in both British Rowing and BUCs races including the major Tideway head races, BUCS Regatta and Henley Women’s and Royal Regattas. Closer to home there are opportunities for some intercollegiate rivalry against UCL, RUMS, St. Georges, ICSM and the other London universities.

We train hard, but we also party hard; the highlight of the social calendar is the annual tour to Cambridge in November, but we are always well represented every Wednesday sports night at Guys Bar. We have several black-tie events throughout the year, including our Christmas dinner and Summer ball, which are not to be missed!
