Welcome to KCL Netball – the best netball club in London. With 5 competitive teams and a thriving recreational squad, we offer opportunities for all abilities – from national-level players to complete beginners. Whether you want to compete at the highest level or just try something new, KCL Netball is the perfect place to play, make friends, and be part of one of the most vibrant communities at King’s.
TRIALS!
Day 1: Sunday 28th September 11-2pm
Day 2: Tuesday 30th September 6-9pm
📍 Bacons Community Sports Centre, Timber Pond Rd, SE16 6AX
Please try to make yourself free for both days as performance will be assessed across the two! Returning players must also retrial. Wear any sporty and weather-appropriate clothing and bring lots of water and snacks. We recognise that trials can be overwhelming or intimidating, but they are a great place to meet new people and we promise that everyone is super friendly and welcoming! For anyone new or coming alone, we recommend meeting us 30 minutes prior at Canada Water station (a 10ish minute walk away) to walk with us. Look for anyone in KCL Netball kit! Our location will be put on the group chat once we are at the courts. Monday - LUSL MATCHES
Tuesday - Training at Bacon's College in Canda Water 7-9pm
Wednesday - BUCS games followed by our weekly socials
Thursday - Recreational training 7-8:30pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Rest days
PERFORMANCE SQUAD
We are very excited to announce that this season, our first team are officially part of the Kings Sport & Wellness Team Performance Program! All players accepted into the first team will have access to strength and conditioning sessions tailored to the team's needs, as well as access to world-class sports facilities, physiotherapy, and team workshops on areas such as nutrition, psychology, and physiotherapy.
SOCIALS
In our opinion, uni life just isn't complete without our Sports Night Socials!! Every Wednesday night, whether we have won or lost that day, we meet up for an evening of fun. We go to a wide variety of locations, including KCLSU official venues such as the Vault and Guys Bar, as well as other venues such as Dover Castle, Simmons, Cafe Nawaz, Sway, The Old School Yard and many more. This makes us the perfect place to explore different parts of London, and get to experience fun venues and activities.
We partner up with lots of other societies from within Kings and across London, giving the perfect opportunity to meet a wide range of other students. Last season, we had joint socials with KCL Rugby, KCL Football, UCL Rugby, LSE Football, and GKT Football - no doubt there will be many more collabs this season! Christmas Dinner and End of Season Dinner are the perfect opportunity to dress up and celebrate as a club all that we have achieved that term, as well as each other.
There is never any pressure to drink at our socials, and everyone is always welcome to bring friends, flatmates and anyone else with them! Additionally, we host sober socials such as ice-skating and sign-painting.
This year, our social secs are planning on expanding socials outside of Wednesdays and creating opportunites to meet up at the weekend and explore different areas of London together. Making the most of living in London can feel overwhelming when there is so much to discover, so this is the perfect way to get to know your new home a little better!
This year, our Social Secs are expanding beyond Wednesday nights by organising weekend meetups and trips to explore different parts of London together. With so much to discover in the Big Smoke, it can feel overwhelming, but these socials will be the perfect way to make the most of living here while getting to know your new home (and your teammates!) even better.
Our first social will be on the 24th of September - the perfect way to spend your Freshers Week Wednesday! Keep an eye on WhatsApp and Instagram for updates.

LUSL CUP RUNNERS UP 2024!
Alongside weekly LUSL and BUCS matches our teams compete in knockout-style tournaments such as the LUSL cup, which our 1s came runners up becoming the 2nd best team in London (oh yeahhhh). Our 1s play in the LUSL Premier divison again this year.
