Welcome to KCL Netball – the best netball club in London. With 5 competitive teams and a thriving recreational squad, we offer opportunities for all abilities – from national-level players to complete beginners. Whether you want to compete at the highest level or just try something new, KCL Netball is the perfect place to play, make friends, and be part of one of the most vibrant communities at King’s.
We welcome players from all degree types and levels - whether you're an undergraduate, postgraduate, or mature student, there's a place for you at KCL Netball! Our members study all types of degrees - from medicine and science, to law, humanities, business and everything in between! If you're thinking about playing netball at university, trust us - KCL Netball is the place to be!
PERFORMANCE SQUAD
We are very excited to announce that in 2025, our first team became a Performance Squad! All players accepted into the first team now have access to strength and conditioning sessions tailored to the team's needs, as well as access to excellent sports facilities, physiotherapy, and team workshops on nutrition, psychology, and more. Our performance squad competes in BUCs Matches, LUSL Prem div matches, and The London Varsity Series. Previously, we have won Macadam Cup against GKT in 2023 and 2024, Runners up to the LUSL Cup Final in 2024, and in 2026, our girls took it to extra time against UCL at Varsity - so we eagerly await challenging them again next season!

SOCIAL LIFE
In our opinion, uni life just isn't complete without our Sports Night Socials!! Every Wednesday night, whether we have won or lost that day, we meet up for an evening of fun. We go to a wide variety of locations, including KCLSU official venues such as the Vault and Guys Bar, as well as other venues such as Dover Castle, Simmons, Cafe Nawaz, Sway, The Old School Yard and many more. This makes us the perfect place to explore different parts of London, and get to experience fun venues and activities.
We partner up with lots of other societies from within Kings and across London, giving the perfect opportunity to meet a wide range of other students. Last season, we had joint socials with KCL Rugby, KCL Football, UCL Rugby, LSE Football, and GKT Football - no doubt there will be many more collabs this season! Christmas Dinner and End of Season Dinner are the perfect opportunity to dress up and celebrate as a club all that we have achieved that term.
There is never any pressure to drink at our socials, and everyone is always welcome to bring friends, flatmates and anyone else with them! Additionally, we host sober wellbeing socials such as ice-skating, sign-painting and movie nights. This season we will be introducing a fresher accommodation buddy system so that freshers have someone to travel to and from events with.
Additionally, we do work alongside several charities. Last year, our partner charity was CoppaFeel! Breast Cancer Awareness, and we hosted a Charity Netball Match with mens rugby (which sold out!), and a pub quiz with KCLWRFC & KCLWFC. We aim to continue and grow these events next season!
Our season wraps up before exams, but the highlight for many girls is our overseas tour in June. Previous locations include Valencia, Malaga, Malta and more! Some may even say that we host the best tour out of any KCL societies.....
Our first social will be on the Wednesday 23rd of September 2026 - the perfect way to spend your Freshers Week Wednesday! Keep an eye on WhatsApp and Instagram for updates.

Tuesday - Training at Bacon's College in Canda Water 7-9pm
Wednesday - BUCS games followed by our weekly socials
Thursday - Recreational training 7-9pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Rest days
