2026 has been our most successful year yet! We are proud to be the London University Women's Indoor League Champions and Varsity winners, competing against women's university cricket teams across London.
Training
We train every week, with sessions for both hardball and softball players:
🏏 Hardball Training — Lord's
Every Wednesday | 3:00–4:00pm
Our hardball sessions are designed for players who want to develop their cricket and compete at university level. Whether you're an experienced club cricketer or looking to get back into the game, our sessions provide a supportive environment to improve your batting, bowling and fielding.
🏏 Softball Training — Harris Academy Bermondsey
Every Thursday | 6:00–8:00pm
Our softball sessions are perfect for beginners and anyone who wants a relaxed introduction to cricket. You don't need any previous experience — just turn up and give it a go!

KCLWCC is growing our competitive cricket programme, with three competitions across the 2026–27 season. Whether you're looking to compete seriously or want to experience university cricket for the first time, there are opportunities to get involved.
🏏 BUCS Indoor Cricket League — Term 1
NEW FOR 2026–27
This year, KCLWCC will compete in the BUCS Women's Indoor Cricket League for the first time.
After our first-ever season in the BUCS Outdoor Cricket League in 2026, we're excited to offer competitive matches all year round.
🏏 London University Women's Indoor Softball League — Term 1 & 2
We will continue competing in the London University Women's Indoor Softball League, where we play against women's university cricket teams across London.
After winning the league in 2026, we're looking to defend our title and continue building our competitive softball programme.
🏏 BUCS Outdoor Cricket League — Term 3
Following our first-ever season in the BUCS Outdoor Cricket League in 2025–26, we are back for another season of outdoor hardball cricket.
Our outdoor season gives members the opportunity to play competitive fixtures against universities across the country, putting everything we've developed throughout the year into practice.
🏆 Varsity
And, of course, there's Varsity.
After winning Varsity in 2026, we're ready to defend our title and continue our rivalry with UCL.
Whether you're an experienced cricketer looking for competitive fixtures or a newer player who wants to work towards representing King's, there's a place for you in KCLWCC's match programme.
Opportunities
We're also committed to helping our members develop coaching and leadership skills.
This year, we have opportunities for members to work towards ECB coaching qualifications through Surrey Cricket, giving you the chance to gain recognised coaching experience alongside your degree.
We're also creating opportunities for our members beyond cricket. This year, we're hosting an upcoming careers event with JPMorgan, giving members the chance to hear from professionals, build their networks and explore careers beyond university sport.
Whether you want to coach future generations of players or add a professional qualification to your CV, KCLWCC can help you take your involvement in cricket beyond playing.
Socials
KCLWCC is about more than what happens on the pitch. We run regular socials, including Sports Nights, club meals (an Honest Burgers hates to see us coming...), Sixes Social Cricket and events with other women's cricket societies across London.
