King's College London's 'THROWN' Ultimate Frisbee Club was founded in 2003. Typically, Ultimate is a 7v7 mixed gender non-contact sport, embodying the idea of Spirit of the Game. We welcome those from all levels of experience no matter your background; from curious beginners who’ve never thrown a disc before to those competing at the international level!

Thrown competes at various mixed and single gender tournaments across the academic season: regionals, nationals, varsity, as well as fun beginner tournaments. Last year we won the LUSL Ultimate league, Varsity vs UCL, placed 2nd at Women’s Indoor regionals, and have had huge success in previous years at the regional and national stage.

Aside from the sport, we pride ourselves on our vibrant social life. Regularly attending sports night, hosting chill discord watch parties and games, as well as multiple joint socials with other London uni ultimate clubs from UCL, Imperial, LSE, and UAL across the year! Our main club events include Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Dinner, and International Tour at the end of the year!

2024/25 Training information:

• Wednesday: Outdoors training, 2pm - 4pm, Southwark Park
• Friday: Indoors training, 8pm - 10pm, Bacon's College
• Saturday: Outdoors training, 2pm - 4pm, Southwark Park

Membership information:

BUCS/Competitive Team Membership

• This membership allows you to participate in training, BUCS competitions (regionals and nationals), Varsity.

BeActive Memebership:

• This membership includes the benefits of a Competitive Membership with the addition of a BeActive membership at a discounted rate.
• BeActive is a programme which allows you to participate in a variety of sports and activities.

Recreational Membership:

• This membership allows you to participate in training. 
• You will NOT be able to compete with this membership.

Associate Membership:

• This membership is for KCL Alumni, KCL(SU) Staff, and current students of Higher Education  institutions in the UK.
• This allows you to participate in training.
