The Postgraduate Guide to Welcome Week

A Guide to Welcome for Postgraduate Students

Welcome to King’s College London! As a postgraduate student, the Welcome Fair is where you will be able to discover societies. Beyond the Welcome Fair, KCLSU offers catered support services for postgraduate students. You can find more information here.

Societies and Activities: Not Just for Undergraduates

Just because you’re a postgraduate student doesn’t mean you’re excluded from the fun and excitement of joining societies. Whether you’re passionate about film, politics, sports, or volunteering, KCL’s societies offer something for everyone. Joining a society is not only a fantastic way to meet like-minded people, but it’s also an opportunity to unwind and take a break from your research. The Welcome Fair on 22 September is the perfect place to explore the wide range of societies available, so be sure to check it out.

What is Welcome Fair?

It’s KCLSU’s biggest event of the year – a one-day showcase of everything you can get involved with as a postgraduate at King’s:

  • 300+ student groups, including postgrad-specific and academic societies

  • Opportunities to connect with others in your faculty or field

  • A chance to find your community at King’s

Date and Venue: Monday 22 September at Old Billingsgate Market, EC3R 6DX
