One of our partner universities, University of New South Wales in Australia, is inviting students across the PLuS Alliance partner universities (including King's) to participate in the Transforming Women’s Leadership Pathways event as Student Ambassadors. Student Ambassadors will be active members of working groups, who will work with leaders to develop action plans for Universities, Government and Industry on how to transform the pathways to leadership for women. This professional development opportunity will enable students to build industry connections and develop global networks, as well as fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and networking skills.
Participants will share their collective knowledge, research and lived experiences to revolutionise women’s pathways to senior leadership roles. The PLuS Alliance is committed to diversity and social inclusion. Expressions of interest from people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds; equity target groups including women, people with disabilities, people who identify as LGBTIQ; and people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent and First Nations people are encouraged. Diversity in leadership is our priority.
Students will be paid the London Living Wage and work for around 13.5 hours in total.
