Hi,
The KCLSU Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at 6pm, Thursday 7 February in Lecture Theatre 1, New Hunt’s House, Guy’s Campus. You must bring your Student ID to attend.
Our AGM is the yearly open meeting where the KCLSU Trustees share key information with our members related to KCLSU as a company. It's an opportunity to share with our members the impact we've made over the last year and how we’re facilitating the student body to connect, get involved, get support and make a difference. It's also an opportunity for our members to put questions to our Trustees and to have a conversation about what's been achieved so far and what we want to achieve together over the next year.
AGM will also see us vote on NUS National Conference motions. Motions are proposed policies that have been submitted by King's students that they want to see go national. There's still time to submit a motion to be discussed at AGM. If it is passed, it will go to NUS to be discussed at the National Conference. The NUS National Conference involves students coming together from across the UK to discuss national policy and campaigns. The deadline for NUS submissions is Tuesday 29 January.
The full agenda will be published and circulated to members on Thursday 31 January.
Can’t attend but still want to vote? If you can’t make the meeting, you can send your vote online by visiting www.kclsu.org/agm. You will be able to vote online from 10am, Thursday 31 January to midday Wednesday 6 February.
If you have any questions, please email representation@kclsu.org and we’ll help.
Best wishes,
KCLSU
