Group of the Month

Congratulations to KCL Womxn in STEM for their incredible impact this month! As part of their Schools Outreach Volunteering Project, they delivered eight hands-on STEM workshops across five London state schools, reaching students aged 11–17. With a team of 28 trained volunteers, they covered topics like coding, 3D modelling, and renewable energy, all while championing representation and inclusion in STEM. This initiative has empowered both students and volunteers, making them a well-deserved Group of the Month!

Project of the Month

Congratulations to KCL Anatomy Society for their impactful She is a Surgeon (SIAS) project! Now in its third year, SIAS supports sixth form students from BAME backgrounds to access medicine and surgery, with continued support for past cohorts now in Year 12 and at university. This year’s highlights included application workshops, networking with BAME surgeons, and an international conference, all designed to build confidence, knowledge, and community. This fantastic project has made a real change supporting students to successfully secure places at University, and is a well-deserved Project of the Month!
