KCLSU is your students’ union, representing your interests, delivering events, and providing services like clubs, societies and advice.
But KCLSU is also an affiliated member of the National Union of Students (NUS). The NUS is the union for all students’ unions across the UK, representing their interests nationally and running campaigns.
At King’s, four students lead on this work through their role as NUS Reps. Your NUS Reps all hold existing representative roles, such as academic reps, trustees or campaign leads. Their experience in these roles enables them to bring diverse perspectives and priorities from King’s students to the national level!
Your NUS Reps attended the NUS England Event back in November where they helped set the campaigning priorities for the NUS this year, including calling on reform of Plan 2 student loans and Palestinian solidarity. Most recently, they have voted in NUS Officer Elections, having their say in who should lead the national student movement for the next two years!
