If you’re looking for an opportunity to contribute, Student Volunteering Week is the perfect starting point!</p> <p> </p> <p>We recommend you go check out the Volunteering Fairs, one in <a href="https://www.kclsu.org/ents/event/14745/">Guy’s Campus on 12 February</a> and another in <a href="https://www.kclsu.org/ents/event/14746/">Strand Campus on 13 February</a>. You will be able to meet multiple <strong>charities</strong>, learn about external and internal volunteering opportunities, and even ask for <strong>advice </strong>if you are thinking of starting your own project.</p> <p> </p> <h3 style="text-align: justify;">Why should I participate?<strong> </strong></h3> <p>There are so many benefits to getting involved in volunteering: it looks great on the <strong>CV</strong>, it allows you to expand on your <strong>skills</strong>, and discover new <strong>interests </strong>you would have never otherwise thought of!</p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="" src="/asset/News/6015/volpic2.png" style="width: 700px; height: 395px;" /></p> <p> </p> <p>Joining our Student Volunteering Week events is also a great way to take part in the <strong>social life</strong> at KCLSU, spend time with your friends by doing a wholesome activity, and possibly even take a memento with you to commemorate a special day!
